Good to Know
- Guests should know how to swim and be comfortable with hiking in mountainous, uneven terrain.
- This tour takes place rain or shine so it is important that guests read the required gear list and pack appropriately.
- A 50L waterproof, hiking backpack is included. All personal gear and snacks along with provided sleeping bag must fit inside the backpack. Guests will carry their own backpack while hiking.
- This tour takes place in the wilderness and wildlife may be encountered. It is important that guests pay close attention during safety briefings and follow all rules regarding wildlife best practices according to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
Meeting Point
When you arrive in Moose Pass, park at Trail Lake Lodge, located at 33654 Depot Road. Please arrive early enough to head into Trail Lake Lodge or across the street to Estes Brother's Store to use the restroom, then meet us by the water's edge at the dock entrance behind Trail Lake Lodge.
